Carrots and Peas
Ingredients
- 225g Carrots
- 225g Peas
- 1 small chopped Onion
- 1 teaspoon Tumeric Powder
- 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
- ½ teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
- ¼ teaspoon Indian Mixed Spices
- 1 Green Chilli
- 50g Ghee or Oil
- 225ml Water
- Salt to taste
Method
- Fry onion until golden brown.
- Cut the carrots in round pieces and wash.
- Add carrots and peas to fried onion and stir well.
- Add all other ingredients and fry for 5 minutes.
- Add 225ml of water and let it simmer on a low heat until carrots are tender.
- Serve it hot with parathas or poories.
